Medical Electronic Systems develops automated sperm quality analyzers (SQA) for assessing male fertility in both humans and animals.
The company has performed extensive R&D in order to accurately characterize and analyze sperm cell movement, concentration and morphology. Through the use of electro-optic technology, computer modeling and video microscopy, Medical Electronic Systems has developed the proprietary algorithms that are the foundation of our fertility testing technology. The accuracy and speed with which the sperm quality analyzer reports semen parameters (75 seconds) is unmatched by manual methods. In addition, the company also develops related data management software to enhance the capabilities of the SQA and assists the user to analyze, document and report semen analysis test results in multiple languages.

Currently MES has four sperm quality analyzer products. Two for human semen analysis (SQAIIC-P, SQA-V) and two animal systems: SQA-Vt (Turkey) and SQA-Vb (Bull). In 2007, MES is developing systems for Swine, Roosters and Horses.
